Why This Project Matters
Context:
The diagnosis carried out in the department of Diourbel in terms of education highlighted the following difficulties: access to schools, education quality, governance and child’s environment.

Sustainably improving education for poor and vulnerable people in the Department of Diourbel
Expected Outcomes:
- The promotion of inclusive, quality education in the department of Diourbel is ensured
- Local governance of schools is improved
Beneficiaries
The direct beneficiaries are 1,593 pupils of primary schools from 14 villages in 4 communes in the Diourbel region. The pupils are boys and girls aged between 6 and 12. Teachers in the target communes, residents of the target villages and the men and women on the school management committees are also benefiting.
Our Funding Needs
The total budget is set at € 1 000 000 for the period 2024 to 2028.

- Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation, and Foreign Trade:80%
- Beneficiaries: 5%
- CPS Through Donations: 15%
