The population in the target villages in the municipality of Toma is living mainly from farming, animal husbandry and forest resources. People are living in precarious conditions and are heavily dependent on the environment and the climate.

The direct beneficiaries are the about 9 000 people from the 5 target villages.
In addition, the project will also benefit to the diocesan OCADES and to the public and private local institutions participating in the project.
The total budget is set at € 500 000 for the period 2018 to 2022, so € 100 000 per year.
The project is funded up to 100% by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development.
