Context

The main problems facing young people in Bam province are unemployment or underemployment, inadequate training and apprenticeship opportunities, which are tending to diminish as a result of the security situation, the vulnerability of young people, sexually transmitted infections, psychosocial problems of refugee children, which also leads to school drop-out and exclusion, as well as the existence of factors that encourage the destruction of social cohesion (e.g. gold mining).

Promoting the socio-professional integration of orphans and vulnerable children through quality schooling and vocational training

Expected outcomes

• Orphans and vulnerable children receive support for their schooling and vocational training
• Implemented activities by the beneficiaries supported for professional integration are profitable

Budget

The total budget is 300 000 € for the period 2024 to 2028, so 60 000 € per year.

Financement

The projet is funded up to 80% by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade. The remaining 20% have to be funded by CPS through donations.
